Midwifery

We specialize in natural care throughout your pregnancy, birth, and the first year postpartum. Our midwifery services also focus on sexual and reproductive health care. This is the perfect option for families who are looking for tailored support and want to avoid unnecessary hospital interventions.

Our midwifery services include the following pieces of prenatal care.
  • 1-2 hour visits consisting of deep relationship building that includes checking in on you and your baby’s physical and emotional health.
  • We believe in open communication which is why we provide unlimited phone support. We’re just a phone call away if you have any questions or concerns.
  • Our sexual and reproductive health services include annual gynecological exams, family planning, IUI, and more.
  • Together we’ll create a tailored birthing plan that meets your needs.
Our midwifery services include the following pieces of labor and birthing care.
  • A birthing kit is included, which contains items such as cord clamps, sterile gloves, plastic-backed pads, and other basic supplies. We also include a birthing tub.
  • Once the birth process has begun, together, we will determine the best time for us to join you at your home.
  • With the support of your birth team, we will check in on you and your baby to ensure everything is going smoothly, physically and emotionally.
  • We will melt into the background to allow you and your family privacy, yet are available as needed.
  • Following the birth of your baby, we will remain with you for 2 to 4 hours (or longer if needed.)
  • Following the birth of your placenta, we’ll check for any tears or necessary repairs, ensure you’ve eaten, and clean up. We perform a comprehensive newborn exam, check your vitals, and make sure everyone is healthy. Breastfeeding assistance is also provided if needed.
Our midwifery services include the following pieces of postpartum care. 

We will return for in-home postpartum care at least six times in the first few months. This time is to guarantee you and your baby are staying healthy – mentally and physically and adjusting well to postpartum life.

We provided extensive and extended postpartum care which last a full year! More frequent visits for any complications like mastitis, lactation support and birth processing are included.

 

If you would like your placenta encapsulated, that service is included as well.

Service Rates

We accept cash, check, PayPal, Venmo, and HSA/FSA. If you are a homebirth client with out-of-network benefits or a PPO insurance plan, we can bill your insurance as an out-of-network provider. We, unfortunately, don’t currently bill Medi-Cal.

For families needing long-term payment plans, I’m contracted with United Medical Credit.

Homebirth Midwifery Care
  • $7,500 for prenatal, birth, and postpartum. This doesn’t include labs, ultrasounds,
Singular Postpartum Midwifery Home Care
  • First week home package: 3 postpartum home visits, on-call phone, and texting availability for 7 days following birth. $700
  • Per hour: $100
Well-Body GYN Care and Holistic Support
  • 60-minute appointment: $75. Does not include lab work.

Our coaching and processing calls support you in diving further into understanding your fears, intuitions, relationships, hardships, and so much more.

Discovery session

We provide a complimentary 30-minute virtual session where we listen to your story and what you want to work towards.

All subsequent sessions are 60 minutes for $100.

Prenatal support coaching

In five sessions, we’ll meet throughout your pregnancy and discuss individualized coaching, how to turn a birth dream into a plan, review childbirth education, discuss postpartum success, and work with your partner or any invited family members.

Five 90 minute virtual sessions for $750 USD.
